How to remove hood led light

Nov 28,2024

The steps to replace the LED light of the range hood are as follows.

Prepare tools: Tools to be prepared include sharp-nosed pliers and a Phillips screwdriver.
Remove the lampshade: Use sharp-nosed pliers to grip the lampshade, rotate it counterclockwise and gently pull it off. Usually the lampshade is fixed by the snap form without the use of screws, so it is ineffective to remove the panel screws.
Replacement bulb: Remove the broken bulb and install the new LED bulb in place by rotating it clockwise. Note that hood bulbs usually use E14 model ports, so check the model number when purchasing.
Test the bulb: After installation, power on and test to make sure the bulb lights up properly before installing the hood, so that you don't find that it doesn't light up and need to rework it after installing it.
Caution:

During disassembly and installation, always make sure the power cord of the range hood is unplugged to avoid the risk of electric shock.
If you are not sure of the bulb model, you can take the broken bulb to a hardware store and ask or buy the same model.
With these steps, you can easily replace the LED light of your range hood to ensure it works properly.
